Scenes of Everyday Life in the Capital II:  On Saturday, the Tokyo Tower, trimmed in pink and green for the holidays, briefly displayed a single heart for a few moments.  It vanished, only to be replaced by more stripes.  Despite hopeful viewings every hour or so, it did not return, and I doubt more than a handful of people actually saw it.
