Flotsam and Jetsam.
Fausto, who was born and raised in the semi-tropics, can only seem to endure winter by striking oddly Daliesque poses slumped over the radiator.  I, on the other hand, wish it would snow.
It occurred to me today I had no idea what a primrose looked like.  I had heard once they were yellow.
I really hate cashmere:  it’s extremely expensive, too warm to wear most of the time, hard to care for and extremely delicate as far as fibers go.  I don’t get the point.
This poem is really disturbing.  And the lines seem to stick in one’s brain.
The Summer Book by Tove Jansson is one of those perfect books.
